It's been a freakin age since I popped up here. I finally found some of my OOOOLD art that I wouldn't mind putting up here... it's an early (and crappy) concept for a tat... which reminds me that there's another I wouldn't mind getting up here. Both of them are the first letter of my first name.

It's a P for those billions of you that don't know (and aren't likely to care).

I haven't really been too inspired to create anything new in a long time... I hit a slump that's lasted almost a year. Bunch of crap happened... Lost my job due to injury, got kicked out of my house... moved back in with my mother... worked like hell for 10-12 hours a day at a freakin jack in the box for 6 months.

It's quite a kick in the mouth to be 24 and living with your mother again for the first time in 7 years. On top of which, you're working a dead end job with a bunch of coke-fiends who are constantly offering you (a former junkie) piles of drugs with your energy drinks. You're doing this for minimum wage with no recognition and no end in sight. OH! On top of THAT, they hired you with the agreement that you would be a shift lead (since you have a 2 year stretch of experience in exactly that position) within two months (which turns out to be a TOTAL lie since jack in the box has policies in place which prevent one from being promoted within 4 months of their hire date). You're also stuck on a station which you HATE (fryer... though I did kick f***ing @ss at it) and disrespected for it. How do you feel?

Well I finally gave them the bird and a big dumb grin and vanished off the face of the earth. I moved out of my mother's house and into my GIRLFRIEND'S MOTHER'S HOUSE! (GAWD I'M LAME!) LOL

It's actually pretty cool. Her mother and father are great people. I'm taking the official GED practice test next Wednesday and I'll have my diploma (an actual diploma, not a GED) by the end of September. How cool is that?

I also have my permit (OMG he doesn't even have a LICENSE?!!!! {no. I don't have a license}) and am going to be attending classes (with the intent of using formal training to lower insurance premiums) to learn to drive.

My computer still sucks, but it's working now... and I guess all's well that ends well.
